Well nice thought to try too, but it’s really complex when you have a process to do that, not everybody thinks the same. And also I didn’t understand where you tried to dragged the elements. If I were you, I would try to organize the frames, and create one by one (one dark, then one light etc).
The word BEST is meant to be used as a comparison. By definition, there can be only ONE best application. There’s a reason why they say that super, or King, or Ninja are not words that describe a product. So if you want anything otherwise, you’re out of luck. Same thing applies to this program.
That said, it’s certainly no BMW. But it’s a minimum viable product.

It works good. I’ve been working with this version for a few days. From my experience when I work with simplified designs (e.g. shapes and colors) it does a good job. For more advanced designs the work speed is quite slow (for an iPad).
‘Also, it’s a huge plus that you can export all objects to a single image so you can easily color edit multiple designs. That’s an extremely useful feature that Most software does not share.
